![]() ![]() As our students achieve an independent grade of fluency, we assist them with their enrollments into universities located in the UK, US, and recently, Germany, to help further their education both in language and in their respective disciplines. We have partnered with the Menual School based in New Mexico to provide online courses for international students, and have launched Chinese language courses in cooperation with the Confucian Institute. While in-person instruction remains the heart and pride of our curriculum, we refuse to rest on our laurels and have recently launched online courses in English, Korean, and German. The demographic capability of our 4000 students demonstrates a communicative ability taking place between students aged 10-18 years old and who reside in the US, UK, and other English speaking countries through our partnerships with Pen Pal and Schools & Classroom program of PTPI. ![]() While our staff has developed the majority of our curriculum, we have incorporated effective methods and educational devices from our partner, PTPI. LSIA has maintained a truly international staff consisting of 300 English teachers, including 45 native teachers from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Gratefully, we have been the recipient of generous support from individuals and organizations based in the UK, including the United Kingdom Supporters of LSIA. Our UK partners include Hilderstone College, Anglican School, Share One Language (SOL), CAFOD, Save the Children, Adria, and NPAC, and the US' Peace Corps, People to People International (PTPI), Fragile Peace, and Menaul School. Supporting our efforts, LSIA has partnered with numerous local and international organizations. LSIA’s alumni include 10,000 certified language students who have continued to pursue their education and develop their careers worldwide through our strong network of educational partners. With 30,000 students across 16 locations in Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, our organization continues to grow each year. Students and professors from local universities joined together to establish LSIA in April 1994 and have since transformed it into the country's leading English learning institution. Based in Tirana, we have acted as an intersection of language learning for students, teachers, and partner organizations in Albania and across the world. Language Schools in Albania (LSIA) is the first homegrown English language non-profit that has served Albania for a quarter of a century. ![]()
